VELASMOOTH® CELULITE TREATMENT
Pre & Post Treatment Instructions
Before Treatment
- The client should shave any hair in the treatment area the day before treatment. Long body hair can be pulled by the mechanical rollers causing the treatment to become uncomfortable, and also contributes to more cellular debris being trapped in the filter.
- Avoid waxing or other traumatic procedures that may compromise skin integrity for a few days before treatment.
- The client should come into treatment with clean skin, and should ideally exfoliate the treatment area the day of treatment in the shower or bath. A shower puff or exfoliating wash can help reduce the amount of skin debris that collects in the filter.
- If possible the client should discontinue aspirin or anti-coagulants that may predispose the client to bruising.
After Treatment
- The client can resume normal activities immediately after treatment.
- Avoid direct heating of the treated area on the treatment day, such as heating pads, hot-tub or Jacuzzi.
